A Fun Giveaway!!!

Hello all! I'm back in Utah and Piper Pix is ready to roll again. Since I've been out of the area,
I'm promoting something fabulous to get back in the groove. It's a giveaway (well, three actually).

Three lucky and deserving people (in Utah) will receive a 1-hour portrait session with me—for free. Whether you want up-to-date family photos or a sweet anniversary shoot with a spouse, you're eligible to win this contest.

Entering is easy. Visit Piper Pix website and blog and let me know how you would like to be photographed. Use examples from my past shoots. Come up with some new, innovative ideas.
How do you envision the perfect photo shoot?

Be creative. Let's have some fun and see if we can make some magic.

Leave your entries as a blog comment along with your contact information (email address or phone #). I will choose the three winners in one week.

With the season already subtly shifting to autumn, I'd say this is perfect timing for some stunning photos.

I would like an outdoor shot of my family like under beautiful trees or by a waterfall or something like that. We haven't had a family picture since my youngest was 6 months old and now he is 20 months old so its been a while. Just showing our love for each other.

I would love to have family pictures of all of us just playing in a big field with the trees turning to fall. We do not get family pictures enough so just anything with us together would be amazing!

Oooh I've never wished I was in UT more! :)

Ooooh PICK ME, PICK ME!!! I would love for you photograph Kent and I. I get my kids' pictures done all the time but Kent and I are usually just thrown in to the mix. I would love to have a photo shoot dedicated to us. Something I think would be that "flip your stomach" kind of fun! Sunsets are beautiful and so romantic. Or of course something with water (ie: Gateway fountains), sounds lame, huh?!

I want you to capture that moment with us, Winter!

Thanks for the opportunity to enter. Hope to hear from you soon :)

Oh your photography is amazing! I would love to have you do our family photos. Adam and I have been married for 5 years (just had our anniversary last week) and have NEVER had family photos done. We have 3 beautiful children and would love to have something special done for us. I would like a meadow scene or just very natural. I am open to any new posing ideas...I want it fun! Or, we could do photos for when we get sealed in the temple. We didn't do very many photos at our wedding since I was pretty pregnant and I really regret not doing them (didn't even get bridals). It would be great to make up for that someday! And you did an AWESOME job on Crystal's bridals/engagements!

I am not In UT, but I would like to enter on behalf of my BIL who is getting married in UT in October. They are on a very tight budget and I don't know if they have any engagement photos or have planned to have a professional photographer at the wedding. It would be great to give them a gift like this, even if it's just for one hour, so they could have some beautiful photos. Your photography is absolutely gorgeous. I really love the use of color and texture for some really stunning photos.

I saw this giveaway on Nicole's blog and you have a beautiful talent!
I would love to do some outdoor family photos in the fall. I am not picky on the location just outside! All of our family pictures have been inside the stuffy photo studios.
Thank you for the great giveaway! ~Monika~ corymonika@gmail.com

Pick us! We need some photos with our Sam. I'm thinking vintage edits (like you did with our favorite bridal shot of me in January in AZ). Fields of wild flowers on a summer dusky night.

Winter!!! I have been waiting for this day. I have been following your blog for over a year now, and admiring your work for almost 2. You are so so talented (Nicole and I have had many conversations about this very thing). Really, whoever wins is so very lucky. I love all your shoots - the twins' shoot was probably my favorite (but that was just because of the models). But my favorites are the pictures you take out in the wide open fields where it's just a bunch of the earth's natural beauty. Gorgeous. I would be honored if you would pick me and my family for this giveaway. We've never actually had pictures taken of us before. In fact, the last "photo shoot" I went to was when I was 8. At Olan Mills. Ha ha ha ha. I would love to have some professional pictures taken of our little family - especially because my dad is a bishop now and has photos of all of the family in his office...except us. Because we don't have any. I would be so so happy to win this. But even if I don't, I can't wait to see the pictures of all the winners!!!

Hi Winter, my name is Katie Taggart and I am one of Nicole's friends from Thunderbird and I saw your giveaway on her blog. You take beautiful pictures and I would love to win the giveaway and have you take family pictures for me. We don't have any professional pictures of our family, so that would be awesome! I envision my perfect family picture being taken on a couch in the middle of a big field of wheat or barley. My email address is ktaggart1@hotmail.com. Thanks for your consideration!

Winter! This is amazing. I love seeing all your new shoots. I think Crystals bridals are my fav, and I always love the babies. Since I am neither a bride nor a mom, some photos of my and my Bryan for our new place would be amazing. Ideas: wet! In a pool, standing in a lake, under water or just drenched in our regular clothes ina normal setting would be cool--something like that. Or, dressed in our work clothes (business-y), me witrh red lipstick on, him with red lipstick smeared on his face. Or, some cool vintage shots to match our cool vintage place and decor. Or...so many ideas, sorry! I sure hope I win this one!

I so need a new family picture done, now that we have Aaron. I know I don't live in Utah, but we will be there this fall, so you could do it then? Abe hates getting his picture taken, but I think if YOU were the photographer, he might not whine as much! :)

Hey winter! What a fun idea! I've been thinking lately about pictures as I looked around the living room. They are all pictures in fields-by trees-etc. None of them are pictures of the things that I want to remember (you know the little things like giving the kids a bath, reading stories, feeding the ducks, having neil diamond dance parties etc) I think it would be really cool if you could somehow make all of the special family times into professional pictures. I would love my babies to have a whole book of us just doing the things we do everyday.
So glad you are back!

Hello! I met Robert & Autumn Moncrief on the set of Snake River. Autumn is just the sweetest thing we clicked right away! Well on FB she told me about this contest and we wanted to * jump * at the chance! We are a small family (Brian, me, and Cambria our almost 3 daughter). We haven’t had “family” pictures since we got married. We are overdue! The perfect picture for us is all about fun! We love to laugh, explore new things and places, dress up, and LOVE to play with props! Like a bouquet of colorful balloons or quirky hats with all of us in formal clothes at a stunning location… like Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah (which has a HUGE waterfall, dozens of gardens, stunning views, a water tower, and great architecture)! I happen to have a photography pass for TP but sadly it expires at the end of September, a $100 value that I won, but we haven't been able to find a photographer that matched our artsy and chic style (in our limited price range)...UNTIL NOW! Please select our family! We also wanted so use masquerade masks if we went for a more formal vibe or if you’re into casual we could all read books since we’re bookworms, or frolic among the flowers, or maybe even play with umbrellas and rain boots if the weather isn’t ideal! ;) I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE WE WIN! clarissadouros@aol.com

He still keeps your picture in his dresser drawer :)
